Volunteer Day

This summer, the Alberta Togolese Association is proud to host a Community Volunteer Day, a meaningful initiative dedicated to service, unity, and giving back to the community we share.

As we prepare for this important day, our goal is to bring members together to make a positive and visible impact through collective action. Whether supporting local spaces, assisting community initiatives, or working on small improvement projects, every effort contributes to strengthening our shared environment and relationships.

Participants can look forward to:

  • Hands-on community service activities
  • Team-based volunteer projects
  • Opportunities to connect with others through meaningful work
  • A spirit of collaboration, care, and unity
  • Light refreshments and time to reflect together after volunteering

This Volunteer Day reflects our core values of responsibility, compassion, and solidarity. It is a reminder that when we come together, we can create real change—not only for ourselves but for the wider community around us.

We invite everyone to take part, contribute their time and energy, and help us build a stronger, more connected community through service.

A purposeful day of service where the Alberta Togolese Association community comes together to give back, strengthen unity, and make a positive impact through collective volunteer action.
